Sikking Farms, Inc.
The third generation of Sikking’s, Michael and Peter Jr., currently farm over 300 acres of land. In 1989, they decided to diversify their operation with cut sunflowers. After experimenting with different varieties, sunflowers have become a successful part of the business. In addition to the gladiolus and sunflowers, the farm also grows peonies, iris and a variety of cut flowers, which are frequently bunched into mixed bouquets. Sikking Farms is continually expanding its product line to meet the needs of its customers. The farms newest venture has been converting to solar power. The solar panel installation began in 2011 and is now complete.
